Painting & Insulation Supervisor

About the role

ENKA is seeking an experienced Painting & Insulation Supervisor to lead the painting and insulation activities on the Central Térmica de Temane (CTT) 450 MW gas‑to‑power project in Inhambane Province, Mozambique. The successful candidate will ensure that all work complies with project specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage work permits for painting and insulation tasks.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, procedures and quality standards.
• Oversee proper storage and handling of painting and insulation materials.
• Maintain housekeeping and health‑and‑safety standards on site.
• Support teams in interpreting isometric and project drawings.
• Monitor work progress and quality, reporting any issues to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Painting & Insulation Supervisor or a similar role.
• Certification in NACE, BGAS or FROSIO Level 1 or Level 2.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting isometric and project drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of NACE, BGAS or FROSIO certification standards.
