Production Shift Superintendent – Offshore LNG Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Shift Superintendent to lead offshore LNG production operations. The role ensures safe, reliable and efficient performance of the plant while coordinating with upstream teams and managing shift personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safe, reliable and efficient operation of LNG production facilities.
• Achieve production targets for productivity, efficiency, availability and performance.
• Coordinate gas feed supply with upstream operations to maximise LNG output.
• Supervise export vessel loading activities and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Review and improve operating procedures and ensure proper implementation by shift teams.
• Prepare detailed shift reports on production performance and operational activities.
• Ensure shift teams are fully staffed with competent personnel at all times.
• Work with maintenance to minimise downtime and guarantee availability of critical equipment.
• Participate in planning and execution of production shutdowns.
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce HSE standards.
• Act as Approval Authority for Permit to Work (PTW) activities.
• Conduct emergency drills and ensure personnel readiness.
• Provide operational training and coaching in line with competency standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Gas or Petroleum Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 10 years in LNG operations.
• At least 6 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, emergency response and team coordination abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of offshore operations and HSE standards.
