Visa & Work Permit Coordinator (M/F) – Mozambique

About the role

The Visa & Work Permit Coordinator will provide immigration advice and administrative support for foreign nationals in Mozambique and globally, handling work permits, visas, mobilization, on‑site support and repatriation for a leading oil and gas company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immigration advice and administrative support for foreign nationals in Mozambique and globally, covering work permits, visas, mobilization, on‑site support and repatriation.
• Coordinate visa‑on‑arrival processes for TEPMA1 employees and their dependents, liaising with the Director of Immigration and assisting arrivals at Maputo and Pemba airports.
• Accompany employees and dependents to the Directorate of Immigration for work and residence visa applications and ensure compliance with government requirements.
• Maintain accurate databases, process payments, invoices and generate immigration reports.
• Support TEPMA1 subcontractors with project‑specific work permit and visa applications.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; degree in law, international relations or similar preferred.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as an immigration consultant or in immigration support.
• Strong knowledge of labour and immigration laws applicable in Mozambique.
• Ability to work across HR functions, anticipate stakeholder needs and deliver solutions.
• Excellent organization, research and deadline‑driven work habits.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Experience with E‑Visa systems.
• Familiarity with the SIMIGRA immigration platform (plus).
