Cash Management Specialist (M/F)

About the role

The Cash Management Specialist will support the Finance Controller and VP Finance in overseeing daily cash operations for a multinational oil & energy company. You will ensure accurate cash positioning, timely payments, and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily and monthly account balances.
• Process incoming and outgoing cash, prepare payment proposals, and ensure timely execution.
• Manage petty cash under senior supervision.
• Estimate cash requirements and forecast cash positions.
• Assist in balance‑sheet reconciliations, SOX responses, and bank reconciliations for all entities.
• Support development and maintenance of cash‑management policies, procedures, and systems.
• Participate in opening new bank accounts and evaluating insurance and guarantee requirements.
• Liaise with offshore and Mozambican banks for daily cash operations.
• Prepare responses to auditor inquiries and support tax reporting to central banks and other stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial records and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Auditing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in Treasury/Cash Management.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, attention to detail, and willingness to work locally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
