Consultant – Coordination of LMSM System in Mozambique

About the role

The consultancy aims to ensure effective coordination, performance monitoring and optimisation of the Last Mile Supply Monitoring (LMSM) system in Mozambique, beginning in Cabo Delgado and supporting readiness for national scale‑up. The consultant will serve as the central coordination focal point, institutionalising, utilising and sustaining LMSM across all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate governance and oversight of the LMSM system.
• Provide post‑go‑live system implementation support.
• Monitor performance and generate analytical reports.
• Supervise field activities and offer on‑site support.
• Deliver capacity‑building and training to stakeholders.
• Manage data use, reporting and dashboard development.
• Support scale‑up planning and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Management or Information Systems.
• Minimum five years of experience with supply‑chain systems, eLMIS or digital health platforms, and working with governments, development partners or UN agencies.
• Field implementation experience in humanitarian settings and proven training and supportive supervision background.
• Fluency in Portuguese and working knowledge of English.
