About the role

The Field Coordinator will support the implementation of Action contre la Faim’s country strategy and programmes in the northern region of Mozambique, ensuring effective team management, partnership coordination and security oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the ACF country strategy and overall programme implementation at field level.
• Manage the field team, ensuring performance, safety and reporting standards.
• Facilitate strong relationships with Area and Coordination teams, regional authorities, UN agencies and NGOs.
• Represent ACF in regional meetings and liaise with partners and stakeholders.
• Oversee security management, reporting and communication processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in development, humanitarian aid, international relations or a related field.
• Minimum two years of field experience in humanitarian project management (e.g., Grants Manager, Program Coordinator).
• Proven experience in project cycle and team management.
• Knowledge of ACF sectors such as Nutrition & Health, WASH, Food Security & Livelihoods, Emergency Response, and MHPSS.
• Strong experience in partner engagement.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese proficiency or commitment to learn; Spanish or Italian a plus.

What we offer

• 12‑month fixed‑term contract under French legislation.
• Monthly gross salary ranging from €2,597 to €2,968, plus a 13th month.
• Pension insurance reimbursement (16% of gross salary) and a 6% annual salary increase.
• Monthly net per diem of €839, country allowance of €450, and child allowance up to €6,000 per year.
• Coverage of transportation costs, accommodation, and 100% medical and repatriation insurance.
