Credit Analyst – BB

About the role

We are looking for a BB Credit Analyst to join our corporate and investment banking team. The analyst will perform high‑quality credit assessments and analysis on both prospective and existing clients, ensuring that credit decisions align with the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and periodic reviews (interim and annual) of the CIB credit portfolio.
• Support the structuring of lending solutions that fit within approved credit limits and the bank’s risk appetite.
• Present credit applications to the Credit Committee and respond to sanctioned enquiries.
• Challenge pricing to maximise value while maintaining compliance with credit policies.
• Monitor covenants, report breaches and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Maintain accurate data on credit systems, including default grades, loss‑given‑default parameters and review dates.
• Provide solution‑driven support to business units, balancing growth initiatives with risk considerations.

Required profile

• Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce or Management Studies.

Required skills

• Credit risk assessment and analysis.
• Understanding of credit policies, regulatory requirements and covenant monitoring.
• Proficiency in managing credit data within banking systems.
