Strategy Analyst

About the role

The Strategy Analyst will support the organisation’s strategic planning and optimisation initiatives by delivering insight‑driven analysis across industry, market, and internal performance data. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct industry, market and competitor analysis to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
• Analyse internal performance and capability gaps against strategic objectives.
• Assess trends in customer behaviour, pricing, product, and supply‑chain data.
• Contribute to annual and long‑term strategic planning processes at the business‑unit level.
• Develop and support business cases for new initiatives, capital projects and optimisation efforts, including basic financial models and valuations.
• Define, track and report on KPIs for strategic initiatives, monitoring progress and flagging risks.
• Prepare presentation materials and strategic reports for senior executives, summarising complex insights clearly.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, Commercial and external advisors to align strategic inputs.

Required profile

• Proven ability to conduct thorough industry and market analysis.
• Experience in evaluating internal performance against strategic goals.
• Strong capability to assess data trends across multiple business dimensions.
• Familiarity with developing business cases and basic financial modelling.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to senior leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional and external stakeholder teams.
