Deputy Project Manager (m/f)

About the role

The Deputy Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and delivering strategic environmental and marine projects for a prestigious international engineering consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel, equipment and subcontractors.
• Maintain and update project schedules, milestones, resource plans and payment deliverables using Microsoft Project.
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and propose practical solutions.
• Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and follow up on actions.
• Support HSE compliance, risk assessments and operational documentation.
• Liaise with vessel crews, port captains, subcontractors and client representatives.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Engineering, Marine or Environmental studies.
• Experience in offshore, maritime, oil & gas, construction or logistics environments.
• Strong written and spoken English and Portuguese.
• Proactive problem‑solver with strong interpersonal skills.
