Digital Power Account Manager

About the role

Huawei Mozambique is seeking a Digital Power Account Manager to drive growth of its solar and energy storage solutions across the region. The role combines strategic account development, solution selling and close collaboration with technical and commercial teams to deliver Huawei’s Digital Power value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new prospective customers by conducting deep needs analysis of their solar challenges.
• Present Huawei’s Digital Power portfolio, supported by product specialists, solution architects and channel partners.
• Achieve sales targets, uncover business opportunities aligned with corporate strategy, and contribute to the development of the sales plan.
• Engage customers from operational levels up to C‑suite, ensuring the Digital Power value proposition is embedded and breakthrough opportunities are captured.
• Act as Solar Sales Lead/Project Director, coordinating with internal sales, product, service and commercial departments to advance projects.
• Facilitate R&D involvement, proof‑of‑concept execution and participation in HQ events for key accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in power‑energy, preferably with solar, PV inverter or BESS projects.
• Proven track record in valued‑account development and strong relationships with EPCs and project developers.
• Excellent spoken and written English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly and guide customers toward Huawei solutions.
• General understanding of financial business models and investment drivers in the energy sector.
