Executive Housekeeper – 5★ Hotel

About the role

We are an established 5‑star hotel in Mozambique looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead all housekeeping operations. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Implement and uphold luxury brand standards and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop the housekeeping team.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, departmental budgets, and inventory.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Required profile

• Currently based in Mozambique (essential).
• Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeping Manager within 4‑5‑star branded hotel groups.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is highly advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of housekeeping operations, quality standards, laundry, public areas, and inventory control.
• Experience managing departmental budgets, procurement, and cost controls.
