Field Supervisor – Heavy Equipment Operations

About the role

Unitrans is looking for an experienced Field Supervisor to join its Agriculture division. The role involves overseeing the daily use of heavy equipment on agricultural sites, ensuring operations run smoothly and customers receive timely service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all field activities involving heavy machinery.
• Allocate resources and schedule equipment such as graders, excavators, bulldozers, compactors and dumpers.
• Monitor progress, address operational issues and maintain safety standards on site.
• Motivate and lead field teams to achieve productivity targets.
• Communicate with clients to ensure service delivery meets expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising field operations in an agricultural or construction environment.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills for client interaction.
