Finance Business Partner – South East Africa

About the role

Aggreko is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support its South East Africa operations from Mozambique. This hands‑on role works closely with operational, commercial and functional leaders to provide end‑to‑end financial insight, drive performance and manage risk across a fast‑moving, multi‑country region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Project Managers and senior leaders to deliver financial insight, challenge decisions and improve commercial performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting, analysing results, trends and performance drivers.
• Provide project‑level financial visibility for pricing, extensions and strategic decisions to maximise profitability.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, cost‑reduction initiatives and performance enhancements across countries and projects.
• Support operational finance activities such as supplier payment escalations, tax, compliance, import/export finance and coordination with the outsourced finance partner Wipro.

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional with strong operational finance, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting background.
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders, including Managing Directors and project teams, to influence decisions.
• Comfortable working across multiple African markets or other emerging economies.
• Experience collaborating with outsourced finance providers and shared‑service models.
• Solid knowledge of financial governance, controls and compliance, with a focus on risk management.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
