Finance Officer

About the role

Smit Lamnalco, part of the Boskalis group, is looking for a Finance Officer to manage the day‑to‑day financial administration of several smaller contracts and entities. You will support the marine services business by ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting and compliance with local tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute general‑ledger administration for assigned contracts/entities.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet files and run the month‑end closing process, including inter‑company reconciliations.
• Produce monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, movement schedules) and management analysis.
• Develop budgets and forecasts and monitor fixed‑asset valuation and depreciation.
• Prepare and submit tax filings in line with local regulations and assist with annual financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure proper document filing.
• Participate in finance projects and help optimise financial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Control, Accounting or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the marine or oil & gas industry.
• Experience handling multiple small‑scale administrations, contracts or entities.
