FMCG Sales Specialist

About the role

The FMCG Sales Specialist will be responsible for growing our consumer‑goods business across Mozambique. Based in Maputo (with travel to Nampula), you will manage existing client relationships, develop new accounts, and ensure smooth end‑to‑end order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stable relationships with existing clients, monitor sales progress and prompt timely replenishment orders.
• Develop new business by persuading potential clients to visit our factories in Tanzania or Zambia and close new orders.
• Support clients in expanding their local operations, driving market‑share growth for our brands.
• Track market dynamics, conduct regular research, produce standardized reports and adjust regional strategies.
• Assist clients throughout the order lifecycle: confirmation, transport arrangement, cargo loading, customs clearance and post‑arrival follow‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry with deep knowledge of the Mozambican market.
• Strong understanding of product import policies and procedures in Mozambique.
• Local resident, able to be permanently based in Mozambique (preferably Tete).
