Guest Relations Agent – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Guest Relations Agent delivers personalised, attentive service to guests throughout their stay at Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort, ensuring a memorable experience that reflects Anantara’s luxury brand standards. Acting as a primary point of contact, the role handles guest enquiries, special requests, and service recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests in a warm, professional, and personalised manner.
• Assist guests with enquiries, requests, activities, dining arrangements, and special occasions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, proactively address concerns, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Activities, Spa and other departments to meet guest requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, requests and feedback.
• Support VIP arrivals, special occasions and personalised guest experiences.
• Provide accurate information about resort facilities, activities, services and local attractions.
• Participate in daily briefings and communicate important guest information to relevant teams.

Required profile

• Hospitality qualification or relevant experience preferred.
• Previous experience in Guest Relations, Front Office or a luxury hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with good English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in a resort setting.
• Professional appearance, grooming and adherence to Anantara service standards.
