Head of Support Services – Mozambique

About the role

Based in Maputo, the Head of Support Services will lead the development and management of finance, accounting, human resources and logistics functions for Nitidæ’s Mozambique operations. The role serves as the main technical liaison with the headquarters team in France, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and strengthening the capacity of the local support team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement administrative, financial, HR and logistics structures and tools.
• Supervise financial reporting, budgeting, audits and payroll processes.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and internal policies.
• Coordinate with the Country Representative, program teams and headquarters technical focal points.
• Develop and mentor a support team of three staff in Maputo and four staff at project sites.
• Monitor and improve operational efficiency across all support services.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing finance, HR and logistics in an international development or NGO context.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance and reporting standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multicultural teams and senior management.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
