Logistics Coordinator & Superintendent – Oil & Gas Project

About the role

RINA is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator & Superintendent to lead logistics operations for a major oil & gas project in Mozambique. You will ensure efficient material flow, timely deliveries, and full compliance with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and material handling.
• Supervise import/export operations and customs clearance processes.
• Manage the flow of materials to on‑shore and off‑shore sites.
• Interface with procurement, expediting, warehouse, and construction teams.
• Monitor delivery schedules against project timelines.
• Oversee storage, handling, and inventory management.
• Manage logistics vendors, freight forwarders, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and procedures.
• Prepare logistics reports, KPIs, and forecasts.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma.
• 5–10 years of logistics experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of international supply chain and customs regulations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using logistics or ERP systems.
