About the role

The Managing Director will lead J&J Mozambique, aligning its strategy with DP World’s Logistics SSA and Bulk & Corridors objectives. This senior position is responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and sustainable profitability across the end‑to‑end supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute J&J Mozambique’s strategy in line with DP World Group, SSA and Bulk & Corridors priorities.
• Establish structures, standards and capabilities that support high‑performing teams and regional logistics goals.
• Develop and manage strategic client relationships, delivering integrated logistics solutions.
• Lead business development, budgeting and P&L ownership for the Mozambique operation.
• Coordinate commercial activities and ensure optimal customer service across value‑added services.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks, proactively managing uncertainties.
• Collaborate with central Commercial functions to create unified go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in logistics, supply chain or related sectors.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of delivering growth and profitability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build high‑impact partnerships.
• Demonstrated capability to lead large, cross‑functional teams in a multinational environment.
