Onshore C&P Quantity Surveyor – EPC Contracts

About the role

The Onshore C&P Quantity Surveyor will manage contract administration for the EPC package of the Mozambique LNG on‑shore project. This role ensures that all contractual terms are applied correctly and that the company’s interests are protected throughout the four‑year, $4 billion contract.

Key responsibilities

• Administer EPC contracts (ISBL/OSBL) in line with agreed terms, maintaining change‑order logs and documentation.
• Support Contract Engineers with contractual correspondence and review of change‑order requests.
• Validate change‑order quantities, conduct site inspections, and prepare supporting evidence for approvals.
• Analyse contractor proposals, recommend actions, and coordinate with technical teams (DUET) to incorporate requirements.
• Review and process monthly contractor payment applications and verify invoice submissions.
• Liaise with Lead Contract Engineers and the on‑site management team to provide day‑to‑day technical and contractual support.

Required profile

• Qualified Contract Engineer or Quantity Surveyor with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Business, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a similar EPC/EPCC contract role within oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of construction law and contract management in an international project environment.
• Proven ability to manage technical issues, coordinate with contractors, and support project teams.
• Excellent command of English (mandatory).
