Package Superintendent – Warm End

About the role

The Package Superintendent – Warm End will lead a team of up to 20 personnel on the Mozambique LNG project, overseeing the construction and commissioning of the warm‑end package. This senior position ensures that all work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget while adhering to HSE and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and enforce safety commitment across client, contractor and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor compliance with all HSE requirements and promote a healthy work environment.
• Analyse contractor performance, identify risks, and propose mitigation actions to the Project Management Team.
• Ensure site works are executed according to contract agreements, approved plans and procedures.
• Review contractor assurance activities, verification documentation, and guarantee adherence to national specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with other superintendents, engineers, planners, authorities and vendors to meet key deliverables.
• Manage budget, schedule milestones, and environmental controls for the assigned area.
• Collect and validate lessons learned, providing feedback to improve future project phases.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas or LNG construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices and LNG industry standards.
• Proven leadership experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
