Site Contracts Manager – Large Scale EPC/Mega Projects (Mozambique)

About the role

Our client, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor specialising in oil, gas and natural gas projects, is seeking a Site Contracts Manager for a 24‑month contract in Cabo Delgado Province, Mozambique. The role focuses on administering site contracts and sub‑contracts, managing variations, and supporting commercial decisions on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Administer site contracts and sub‑contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage subcontractor performance, including scope, deliverables, progress, and contractual issues.
• Assess and process site variations and change orders, evaluating cost and schedule impacts.
• Prepare and manage claims such as extensions of time, disruption, delay, and additional‑cost claims.
• Monitor site progress against contractual milestones and identify potential delays or commercial exposure.
• Review and certify subcontractor payment applications, measuring completed work and resolving disputes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–10 years of site contracts management experience on large‑scale EPC or mega‑projects.
• Proven experience with NEC 3 and/or FIDIC contract administration.
• Willingness to travel to Mozambique on a 75‑day on/15‑day off rotation and possession of a valid passport.
