Private Sector Partnership Manager (Cashew)

About the role

TechnoServe is seeking a Private Sector Partnership Manager (Cashew) to lead the development and management of strategic partnerships across the cashew value chain in Northern Mozambique. The role will drive inclusive business models that enhance sourcing systems, farmer integration, processing, and sustainability compliance, contributing to the EU‑funded Green Value for Growth (GV4G) programme.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with cashew processors, exporters, aggregators, cooperatives and agribusiness SMEs.
• Implement inclusive business models that strengthen out‑grower schemes and farmer integration.
• Facilitate co‑investment arrangements and commercially viable agreements aligned with GV4G objectives.
• Support partners in improving market access, certification readiness and sustainable supply‑chain development.
• Coordinate partnership agreements, value‑chain development activities and monitor progress against programme targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development or business development within agricultural value chains.
• Strong understanding of cashew processing, export markets and sustainability standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including private firms, financial institutions and farmer groups.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and project‑management skills.
