Programme Director – Green Value for Growth (GV4G) in Mozambique

About the role

TechnoServe is seeking a dynamic Programme Director to lead the coordination and management of the €54 million Green Value for Growth (GV4G) programme in Mozambique. The role sits at the centre of a multi‑partner consortium, ensuring effective governance, communication and operational alignment across value‑chain teams and geographic implementation areas.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central coordination and programme‑management focal point for the GV4G consortium.
• Facilitate collaboration and decision‑making through the Programme Management Team, Senior Management Team and Consortium Leadership Committee.
• Ensure programme systems, planning processes, reporting, operational support and donor compliance are in place for the soy, cashew and coffee portfolios.
• Maintain programme coherence, adaptive coordination, partner accountability and donor engagement.
• Support integrated delivery across the consortium while respecting the distributed governance structure.

Required profile

• Highly collaborative and politically astute leader.
• Proven experience coordinating complex donor‑funded programmes and multi‑stakeholder partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to manage implementation within distributed and adaptive management structures.
• Strong understanding of agribusiness, climate‑resilient value chains and EU‑funded initiatives.
