Project Plumber – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

Alistair Group is seeking a skilled plumber to join its project team in Mozambique. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply, drainage, and sewage systems while ensuring compliance with safety and building standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and sewage infrastructure.
• Diagnose plumbing faults and perform corrective repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspect systems for code compliance and test for safety and functionality.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition.
• Supervise maintenance staff and ensure safe working conditions.
• Complete preventative maintenance checklists and documentation.
• Assist with parts selection, procurement, and inventory management.

Required profile

• Proven ability to install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills for plumbing faults.
• Experience reading and applying technical drawings.
• Commitment to occupational health and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
