Quality & Compliance Officer (Junior) – ISO 27001, Maputo

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Quality & Compliance Officer to join our ICT Managed Services Provider in Maputo. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO/IEC 27001 standards, while also supporting customers on their certification journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the ISMS framework according to ISO/IEC 27001.
• Conduct internal and external ISMS audits and report findings to management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate information security risks across the organisation.
• Support external customers with ISO 27001 compliance and certification requirements.
• Manage security incidents and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Deliver compliance and information‑security training initiatives.
• Prepare regular compliance and ISMS performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of post‑qualification experience in a consulting or ICT environment.
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and Implementer certification.
• Proven experience conducting ISMS audits and risk assessments.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and work collaboratively.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented leadership attitude.
