Resources Management Officer (P)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Resources Management Officer (P) for its Pemba Sub‑Office. Reporting to the Head of Resources Management and working closely with the Senior Sub‑Regional Resources Management Officer, the DFAM at Headquarters and the Global Shared Services Centre in Manila, the officer will support the coordination of budgetary, financial, human‑resources and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monitoring and oversight of financial management for all activities in the Pemba Sub‑Office, including review of financial expenditures.
• Coordinate budgetary and administrative processes in line with IOM policies.
• Assist in human‑resources matters and provide administrative support to staff.
• Liaise with the Head of Resources Management, regional officers and the Global Shared Services Centre to ensure effective resource management.

Required profile

• Eligible first‑tier candidate as defined by IOM (internal staff or nationals from non‑represented member states).
• Experience in financial, budgetary or administrative functions within an international organization is desirable.
