Sales & Marketing Representative – Beira

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Representative will support SGS Mozambique’s growth in the Beira region by generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and promoting our testing, inspection and certification services. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Coordinator, the role combines sales activities with market analysis to increase revenue and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue by expanding the customer database and increasing market share.
• Develop relationships with new customers and support collaborative sales efforts.
• Analyse customer issues and propose appropriate solutions.
• Prepare sales presentations, manage quotations, and update the sales pipeline weekly.
• Support tender processes and ensure quotations meet approval criteria.
• Engage with local markets to monitor trends and competitive environment.
• Participate in exhibitions, promotional activities, and customer satisfaction surveys.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the Technical Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry.
• Proven ability to meet yearly sales objectives and develop sales strategies.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
