Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to promote its agriculture, construction and mining equipment across several regions in Mozambique. The role offers the chance to work with a global leader in heavy machinery and to develop a technical sales career in a fast‑growing market.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and meet pipeline and collection goals.
• Prospect, qualify and generate new leads for various product lines.
• Contact prospective clients through calls and on‑site visits to showcase equipment.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Record and update all activities in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly performance reports to the line manager.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum matric (Grade 12); tertiary education is a plus.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in the heavy‑equipment or related machinery sector.
• Technical aptitude for understanding machinery specifications and applications.
• Knowledge of construction, agriculture or mining equipment markets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Own a reliable vehicle, laptop and mobile phone.
