Sales Trainer

About the role

Cartrack, a global smart mobility technology company operating across 23 countries, is hiring a Sales Trainer in Maputo, Mozambique. The role suits someone who combines hands-on sales experience with a passion for training, coaching and helping others succeed. You will develop salespeople's skills, strengthen their product knowledge and improve their ability to engage customers, handle objections and close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training programmes for new hires and existing sales teams to improve sales performance and execution.
• Develop engaging training content and learning materials that support sales effectiveness.
• Conduct training needs analyses to identify skills gaps and development opportunities.
• Design and monitor assessments to measure learning and training effectiveness.
• Prepare training reports and track progress against development objectives.
• Identify and implement new training approaches and techniques to improve learning outcomes.
• Provide ongoing support to help salespeople apply their training in real customer interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including selling and training products and/or services.
• Experience developing training content and learning materials.
• Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively across teams.
• A genuine passion for sales development, coaching and improving performance.

Advantageous

• A training or teaching qualification.
• Experience in SaaS product training or sales enablement.
