Security Coordinator – Rotational Role in Mozambique

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Security Coordinator to join a high‑profile international project in Mozambique. The role is rotational and based in a secure camp, requiring 24/7 availability to support logistics and emergency response in a high‑risk environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor secure logistical movements across the project area.
• Ensure compliance with international security standards and human‑rights principles.
• Produce accurate reports on security conditions, resources and threat levels.
• Maintain clear communication with security forces, contractors and internal teams.
• Oversee the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and respond to emergencies.

Required profile

• Fluency in English, Portuguese and Swahili (additional local languages a plus).
• Military or police background, minimum senior non‑commissioned officer level.
• Proven experience working with military and law‑enforcement personnel.
• Minimum high‑school diploma.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
