Senior Contract Engineer (Business Services)

About the role

The Senior Contract Engineer will lead contract and procurement activities for Business Services, ensuring robust contractual frameworks and effective supplier performance across a large portfolio of high‑value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in contracts and procurement processes, creating contract dossiers and defining responsibilities.
• Develop contracting strategies, issue calls for tenders and source expertise for various functions.
• Negotiate and analyse commercial bids, prepare Recommendations to Award and present them to the Contracts Committee.
• Ensure insurance coverage for assets and personnel and monitor performance using KPIs.
• Maintain and update contract management tools, frame agreements and qualified contractor lists.
• Lead complex technical contracts, conduct bid analysis, and oversee contract handover and performance monitoring.
• Assist in claim and dispute settlement, providing strategies and participating in negotiations.
• Monitor contract status, support renewal and amendment discussions, and act as C&P Manager when required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with 10‑15 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in technical contracts.
• Proven experience in international operations, LNG or construction services contracts, and large‑scale procurement.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities, with advanced negotiation skills.
