Senior Finance & Admin Officer – Mozambique

About the role

The Senior Finance & Admin Officer will oversee the financial and administrative functions of Street Child’s operations in Mozambique, ensuring robust systems, transparent reporting, and efficient support for programme delivery across the country portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong financial governance and accountability in line with Street Child and donor policies.
• Support programme teams to implement activities within approved budgets.
• Oversee financial planning, accounting, cash management, and procurement support.
• Manage office administration, asset tracking, and financial reporting.
• Assist in proposal development, programme budgeting, and donor reporting.
• Strengthen financial capacity of internal teams and local partners.
• Ensure compliance with organisational standards and donor requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance and administration within an NGO or development context.
• Ability to work closely with senior management, programme teams, and external partners.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance and financial reporting standards.
• Capacity to operate in complex, resource‑constrained environments.
