Technical Manager – Terminals

About the role

The Technical Manager for Terminals will lead the engineering and maintenance function across a geographically dispersed network of terminals, ensuring high operational reliability despite aging infrastructure and complex logistics. This role reports to the Operations Director and works closely with logistics, safety, and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead integrated engineering and maintenance activities, aligning with company technical, HSEQ, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, overseeing CAPEX‑level projects and OPEX interventions.
• Define maintenance policies based on asset criticality and hierarchy, and validate work orders, shutdown plans, and scopes.
• Manage technical integrity programs, including tank inspection plans, condition monitoring, and safety testing.
• Supervise CMMS configuration, ensure data completeness, and drive high‑quality, auditable maintenance records.
• Track and report monthly KPI performance, including backlog, downtime, budget control, and safety indicators.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for terminal‑level maintenance tasks and support strategic CAPEX/OPEX planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering and maintenance functions in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong understanding of HSEQ compliance, regulatory inspections, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage external contractor ecosystems and enforce performance controls.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret KPI trends and drive continuous improvement.

• CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) configuration and usage.
