Technical Pre-Sales Consultant – ICT (Maputo)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Pre‑Sales Consultant to design and present tailored ICT solutions for enterprise clients in Maputo. The role bridges sales and technical teams, ensuring proposals meet both business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design technical solutions and prepare Bills of Materials (BoMs) based on client requirements.
• Conduct discovery sessions, gather business and technical needs, and translate them into solution designs.
• Support the sales cycle with technical expertise, creating solution architectures, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with internal Technical, Projects, Procurement, and Vendor teams to validate feasibility.
• Engage with technology vendors for support and solution validation.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to prospective and existing clients.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in pre‑sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, routing & switching, storage and server technologies.
• Experience designing solutions across cybersecurity, communications, collaboration, VoIP and cloud environments.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and produce BoMs, proposals and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, cybersecurity, networking, cloud) are a plus.
