Training Officer - Biomass

About the role

Burn Manufacturing is looking for a Training Officer in Mozambique to support the delivery of training programs for its Biomass Sales Agents and Field Teams. The role covers delivering sessions, coordinating training activities and ensuring knowledge transfer that improves sales performance, customer satisfaction and environmental awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured training sessions for new and existing sales personnel, using adult learning principles, and run Train-the-Trainer programs for Team Leaders, Territory Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers
• Collect, analyze and act on day-to-day training needs in line with the Training Lead's directives, and coordinate logistics such as scheduling, materials and participant communication
• Liaise with external trainers when needed for specialized learning
• Collect and analyze feedback from trainees and trainers, monitor post-training performance and knowledge retention, and track attendance, completion rates and learning outcomes against KPIs
• Stay up to date with the Biomass training curriculum and help localize training materials with the Training Manager

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in training facilitation, learning delivery or sales enablement, preferably in clean energy, FMCG or a related sector
• Good command of English, Portuguese and Makuwa; Choabo or Lomwe is a plus
• Nice to have: knowledge of clean energy products, biomass stoves or carbon markets, familiarity with digital learning tools and LMS platforms, and a passion for climate change education
