About the role
Newrest is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee its Mozambic operations, ensuring efficient handling of incoming and outgoing deliveries and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and organize warehouse and delivery staff activities to meet budgeted service levels.
- Monitor processing of all deliveries, maintain stock according to company policies, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Supervise use and maintenance of delivery vehicles, cooling units, racking and warehouse fittings, reporting any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and enforce Health & Safety policies.
Required profile
- At least 5 years of proven quality assurance experience in catering or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
- Financial, budgeting and stock‑taking competence.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Newrest’s in‑house ERP system (Winrest) for inventory management.
- Experience using IT tools for stock adjustments, purchase and sales order monitoring.
