FMCG Sales Specialist – Mozambique (Nampula & Maputo)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced FMCG Sales Specialist to drive growth for our brand across Mozambique. The role is based in both Nampula and Maputo and focuses on strengthening existing client relationships while expanding our customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stable relationships with existing clients, monitor sales progress and prompt timely replenishment orders.
• Develop new business by persuading potential clients to visit our factories in Tanzania or Zambia and close new orders.
• Support clients in local expansion efforts, helping them achieve growth and increase our market share.
• Track local market dynamics, conduct regular research, produce standardized reports and adjust regional strategies accordingly.
• Manage the full end‑to‑end order process, including order confirmation, transportation arrangement, cargo loading, customs clearance and post‑arrival follow‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry with deep knowledge of the Mozambican market.
• Strong understanding of product import policies and procedures in Mozambique.
• Local resident able to be permanently based in both Nampula and Maputo.
