Knowledge Management Internship – Social and Behaviour Change

About the role

The Knowledge Management (KM) Intern will join UNICEF Mozambique’s Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) team. The role focuses on documenting best practices, lessons learned, and innovations across health, nutrition, education, child protection, WASH, social protection and climate resilience programmes. The internship provides hands‑on experience in knowledge capture, synthesis and sharing within a development context.

Key responsibilities

• Support the documentation of SBC best‑practice case studies, lessons learned and innovations.
• Compile and synthesize content from programme sections such as Health and Child Marriage.
• Assist in creating knowledge products including briefs, summaries, presentations, slides, infographics and simple audio‑visual materials.
• Help prepare content for internal learning platforms and external visibility (website, newsletters, partner communications).
• Contribute to the organisation of knowledge repositories and the development of KM tools, templates and processes.

Required profile

• Current university student or recent graduate in communications, social sciences, public health, development studies or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in social and behaviour change programmes and evidence‑based learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with programme staff and external partners.
