About the role

The Front Office Manager will lead the front office team at Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort, ensuring every guest receives a seamless and personalized experience from arrival to departure. This senior position is central to creating a strong first impression and upholding the resort’s luxury standards in an exclusive island setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all front office functions, including reception, concierge, reservations, and guest services.
• Deliver smooth, personalized check‑in and check‑out processes for all guests.
• Oversee VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest recognition programs.
• Lead, coach, and develop front office staff to maintain exceptional service standards.
• Monitor room inventory and occupancy, coordinating with revenue and reservations teams to optimize yield.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, guest satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure seamless guest journeys.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Front Office Manager in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, guest‑relations, and problem‑solving skills.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel management systems (PMS).
