About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking an experienced leader to drive business growth and represent the company in Mozambique. As the Enterprise Growth Market Leader, you will act as the managing director for Baker Hughes legal entities in the country, shaping strategy and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Baker Hughes with major authorities, International Oil Companies, and local government bodies.
• Coordinate with regional directors (IET and OFSE) to align country initiatives with global strategy.
• Support government relations and manage local content development projects.
• Identify and scout business opportunities, partnering with sales leaders to ensure profitable, long‑term growth.
• Communicate policy changes and implementation plans to internal and external partners.
• Ensure all processes and policies comply with local regulations.
• Present business solutions and functional insights to senior leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in LNG, upstream offshore, and local content planning/execution within the energy sector.
• Strong leadership, executive communication, and influencing abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent project management capability and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
