About the role
Avani Pemba Beach Hotel & Spa, part of Minor Hotels, is hiring an Executive Housekeeper. The role oversees the hotel's housekeeping and laundry functions so that all areas stay clean and well maintained, giving guests and staff a safe and orderly environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire housekeeping and laundry function of the hotel.
- Set and review standards and ensure they are communicated to all housekeeping staff through effective training.
- Make sure all public, guest-facing and back-of-house areas are properly cleaned at all times.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are followed.
- Keep departmental SOPs and LSOPs current, in effect and available for staff to use, revise and update as needed.
