Finance and Administration Manager

About the role

We are looking for a motivated professional with a passion for finance, administration and sustainable development to lead the financial and operational functions of Zinane National Park. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Development, the Finance and Administration Manager will be the custodian of financial, HR, procurement, ICT and administrative policies, ensuring robust systems and compliance in a remote field environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain financial systems, policies and internal controls aligned with Peace Parks Foundation standards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and donor fund management.
• Manage human‑resources processes, payroll, recruitment and staff development.
• Supervise procurement procedures, contracts and asset management.
• Ensure effective ICT and information management support for field operations.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management and ensure compliance with donor requirements and local regulations.
• Lead and develop a small finance and administration team, fostering a results‑oriented culture.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in finance and administration, preferably within NGOs or donor‑funded projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of donor funding management and compliance.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated, adaptable and results‑oriented.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build respectful relationships.
• Willingness to live and work in remote field conditions and manage multiple activities under pressure.
