Grants and Partnership Coordinator – Mozambique (Pemba)

About the role

The Grants and Partnership Coordinator supports the Mozambique Rapid Response Mechanism Consortium Manager in overseeing donor grants, partnership agreements, and the pooled‑fund mechanism. Based in Pemba, the role ensures timely reporting, budget monitoring and compliance across all consortium activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Consortium Manager with donor reporting, budget tracking and grant compliance.
• Lead administrative follow‑up for pooled‑fund activations, including allocation tracking, expenditure monitoring and documentation for fund release.
• Maintain complete audit files and consolidate financial and management information for each response.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day engagement with Level 1 roster partners and support partnership processes with Level 2 and Level 3 actors.
• Develop and maintain an overview of all grants, donor requirements, deadlines and filing systems in line with NRC policies.
• Prepare donor applications, reports and related documentation, ensuring quality control and compliance.
• Contribute to the drafting and revision of funding proposals, budgets and donor reports.
• Monitor donor priorities and trends, share relevant calls for proposals and document lessons learned.
• Support continuous improvement of internal grant‑management systems and provide a help‑desk for donor‑related queries.

Required profile

• Experience in grant management, donor reporting and financial monitoring within a humanitarian or development context.
• Familiarity with consortium or multi‑partner coordination and pooled‑fund mechanisms.
• Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and adhere to NRC policies and procedures.
