Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Newrest is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for its operations in the north of Mozambique. The role involves overseeing hygiene, cleaning, and laundry activities within the oil & gas rotation sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the hygiene of facilities, equipment and work utensils, ensuring control and supervision.
• Manage, organize and control the daily tasks of the cleaning and laundry team.
• Participate in customer satisfaction initiatives, implement corrective actions and achieve team objectives.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies, HACCP rules and good hygiene practices during production.
• Manage chemical products, maintain proper identification and documentation, and carry out dilution for cleaning.
• Promote continuous improvement recommendations and implement company‑proposed actions.
• Communicate environmental management policy, address non‑conformities and participate in impact mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and/or Portuguese.
• Ability to work under high pressure.
• Strong sense of organization, method and respect for local constraints.
• Versatility and commitment to corporate values such as responsibility and team spirit.
