Humanitarian Affairs Manager

About the role
MSF is seeking a Humanitarian Affairs Manager to lead advocacy and humanitarian analysis in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. You will work closely with the Country Coordinator and Country Management Team to shape MSF’s strategic positioning, influence decision‑makers, and improve access to health services for vulnerable populations.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and analyse key humanitarian issues affecting populations and MSF operations.
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies, dashboards and briefing materials aligned with MSF priorities.
- Draft reports, position papers and advocacy messages for internal and external audiences.
- Represent MSF with authorities, NGOs, academia and civil society to strengthen advocacy impact.
- Advise programme teams on context, positioning and protection principles, and deliver training on humanitarian law and advocacy.
Required profile
- Degree in social sciences, political science, law, anthropology or a related field.
- Minimum three years of international experience in humanitarian affairs, advocacy or analysis, preferably with MSF or a similar NGO.
- Experience in complex security environments and knowledge of health systems or supply chains is an asset.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
