ISO 27001 Quality and Compliance Officer (Junior) – Maputo

About the role

We are seeking a Junior ISO 27001 Quality and Compliance Officer to join our regional ICT Managed Services Provider in Maputo. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organisation’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO/IEC 27001 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the ISMS framework according to ISO/IEC 27001.
• Conduct internal and external ISMS audits and produce detailed audit reports.
• Identify, assess and mitigate information security risks across the business.
• Support external customers with their ISO 27001 certification road‑maps and compliance initiatives.
• Manage security incidents, coordinate corrective actions and drive continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
• Deliver compliance and information‑security training for staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of post‑qualification experience in a consulting or ICT environment.
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and Implementer certifications.
• Proven experience performing ISMS audits and information‑security risk assessments.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and work collaboratively.
