Medical Assistant – Front Office & Patient Care

About the role

The Medical Assistant supports both front‑office operations and the patient‑care team in a clinical environment. You will handle scheduling, patient check‑in, preparation, and assist with basic clinical tasks while ensuring smooth communication between patients, staff, and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient services.
• Perform check‑in procedures, verify insurance, and collect patient information.
• Record vital signs, medical history, and assist with patient preparation for examinations.
• Maintain and clean medical instruments and equipment.
• Handle a variety of front‑office duties such as filing, answering phones, and managing correspondence.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Certified Medical Assistant (required).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with medical staff, external agencies, and patients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in patient scheduling and electronic health record documentation.
• Competence in measuring and recording vital signs.
• Knowledge of instrument care and basic clinical procedures.
