National Programme Officer (CCCM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Programme Officer to support Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) operations across displacement sites, host communities and return areas in Mozambique. Reporting to the Programme Manager (CCCM) and working closely with the Emergency Response and Recovery Coordinator, the officer will ensure effective field coordination and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist CCCM field teams in monitoring service delivery, quality standards and community concerns across sites.
• Support the deployment, supervision and rotation of field teams to maintain operational coverage.
• Participate in IOM coordination meetings, share information and contribute to planning processes.
• Monitor logistical readiness of field teams, identify gaps in equipment and supplies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to implementing partners and field staff on site coordination, feedback mechanisms and minimal site maintenance projects.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in humanitarian programme implementation, preferably in CCCM or related sectors.
• Understanding of displacement dynamics, host‑community interactions and return processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including government, NGOs and UN partners.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
