Programme Manager – Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning

About the role

Itad is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the design, implementation and learning of monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) contracts. The role is based in Maputo and focuses on delivering high‑quality evidence to help organisations address complex challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and manage programmes that generate evidence and insights for client organisations.
• Oversee adaptive programming and ensure robust MEL frameworks are embedded throughout project cycles.
• Coordinate with partners and stakeholders to align project deliverables with strategic objectives.
• Report on progress, outcomes and lessons learned to senior management and donors.

Required profile

• Significant experience in programme management, preferably within international development.
• Proven track record of managing UK FCDO contracts or similar donor‑funded projects.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, evaluation and learning methodologies.
• Based in Maputo and able to work on‑site.
